FBCLG to Welcome King of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area of Ghana on Sunday October 20th

SOMERSET, N.J. Oct. 17, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- His Majesty, Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatio Ofori Panin, King of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area of Ghana will be visiting First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens (FBCLG) on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. He will join FBCLG in worship and share his vision on economic development, commercial growth, and the general progress and welfare of the people.

His Majesty became the 35th king to uphold the Ofori Panin Stool on October 4th, 1999. He is known to be one of largest known figures in Ghana. His Majesty takes pride in the welfare of his community and strives to fulfill issues relating to his environment. In 2001, he founded the Okyeman Environment Foundation (OEF) and founded the University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies in Bunso, Ghana in 2011. He is an advocate for child welfare, HIV/AIDS awareness, and women empowerment and has created many foundations in support.
A welcome celebration will be held following the 11:00 a.m. service in the FBCLG, C. H. Brown Jr. Memorial Fellowship Hall. The church services are open to the public.
