The film highlights the ominous consequences what's come to be called demographic winter. There are now 59 countries, with 44% of the world's population, with below-replacement birthrates. But everywhere birthrates are falling -- in rich nations and poor nations, and in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, as well in Europe and North America.
