NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Beyond Mumbai: Hope and Healing," the five-part web based documentary follows one woman's journey of healing and compassion following the loss of her family in the 2008 Mumbai Massacre. A special supplement -- featuring Philip Yancey, author of What Good is God? -- will accompany the documentary. Yancey sits down with Odyssey to discuss grace, overcoming division, and most importantly the necessary steps we must take to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Yancey, author of numerous books on faith, religion and bridging divides, was in Mumbai, India on a book tour during the terrorist attacks. In his latest book he devotes a chapter to this experience, along with many other life changing events which have motivated him to seek the common ground and help others to come together as "one human family." Previous works by Yancey include, A Skeptic's Guide to Faith, Finding God In Unexpected Places and What's So Amazing About Grace?
Follow "Beyond Mumbai: Hope and Healing" at www.odysseynetworks.org from now through Dec. 17 for more exclusive interviews with Philip Yancey, along with additional stories of people of faith coming together to share their messages, heal their pain, and work towards forgiving the unforgiveable.
