KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 14, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Peggy Scott Adams is preparing to re-release her "Back To The Roots" CD released in 2008 and never fully worked or distributed. The multi talented singer employed the services of noted musician Gerald Haddon as producer for the project. This project will hopefully build upon her fan base and get this music heard by more people.
The album, "Back To The Roots", consist of ten songs with the producer contributing to eight original songs, each song providing a high energy, melodious vocal and heartfelt lyrics. The music is punctuated throughout with elements of jazz, pop and R&B.
The Album was recorded in Los Angeles and supported by some of the best vocalist and musicians in the Gospel genre. The Background vocals are by Gerald Haddon, T. Haddon and P. Bolton. The CD recorded at The House studios, Ontario, California and Dizmix Studios in Glendale California.
The theme of the CD underlies the desire of Peggy Scott Adams to share with her fans what she has endured during her time away from the music industry. Having lost her husband of many years and her long time writer and producer required her to take leave from her music and reflect upon all that is good in her life.
