MORRISTOWN, N.J., Oct. 28, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- Liquid Church, one of New Jersey's fastest growing Christian churches, has announced plans to expand from 4 to 8 campuses around the state, beginning with the launch of a new campus in Somerset County on November 8th.

"It's our vision as a church to saturate the state of New Jersey with the message of Jesus, and that's the driving force behind this move to grow our church to 8 campuses within the next 2 years. We know it's bold, but our long-term vision is to have a campus in every county in New Jersey," said Tim Lucas, lead pastor and founder of Liquid Church. "We are thrilled to begin this expansion with the launch of our Somerset County campus!"

A long-time leader at Liquid Church and Hillsborough resident, Pastor Jon Coords, will lead the new Somerset County congregation. Hundreds of area families are expected for the grand opening at the Somerville Middle School at 51 W. Cliff Street, a block from Main Street and downtown Somerville.

"For years we've seen people from Somerset County traveling to attend church at our other campuses in neighboring counties. It was clear that there's a desire for a contemporary Christian church like Liquid in the area. In fact, we are anticipating one of the biggest campus launches in Liquid history," said Coords.

He added, "I want to extend a personal invitation to everyone in Somerset County – whether you've never been to church before or you're a Sunday regular, I know you'll fit right in at Liquid. We have a come as you are environment and believe church should be fun!"

Liquid Church has announced additional campuses to open in 2016, starting with a location in Garwood, an incredible story of church rebirth in Union County, and followed by Jersey City in Hudson County – Liquid's first urban campus.

All are welcome for the grand opening of Liquid Somerset County on November 8th. Services will be held at 9:30am and 11:30am at the Somerville Middle School located at 51 W. Cliff Street. Additional details, including a map of the location, may be found online.
