MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- Parents are learning of medical conditions adopted international children bring into their homes when they arrive in America from third-world countries. Author Lorilyn Roberts shares the shocking story of the medical nightmare that accompanied adoption papers. As a single parent, she was thrilled to build her family through adoption. Imagine Lorilyn's surprise when her daughter Manisha developed seizures, which led to finding a 5-year-old parasite growing in her brain.
This story has captured the attention of media, and was featured on Animal Planet's Monsters Inside Me program recently. Watch the show, read the book, interview Lorilyn, and learn how to easily prevent this devastating illness, which is a leading cause of seizures in the developing world.
