As I watched the State of The Union address last night, I was totally embarrassed by black representatives who refused to support the fact that black unemployment is at the lowest ever.
 
They also failed to stand for prison reform.  Our prisons are crowded with black and brown people.  After their time is served, they usually have difficulty securing employment.  Giving those young men and women a second chance with training and jobs to support themselves and their families is huge!  I believe specific prison reform will help deter repeat offenders.

If blacks in Congress can't come together on these issues that are so very important to black communities then what good are they?

One might think the Congressional Black Caucus prefers their constituents stay down trodden and poor. 

One might think Democrat Representatives prefer ILLEGAL alien dreamers over American dreamers.  Inner city kids, middle America kids, my kids, your kids are dreamers too.  What about their dreams for jobs, education, success and safety?

President Trump did in fact offer an olive branch but it was extremely evident the Dems wanted the whole dang tree.

By sitting on their hands, the Democrats proved that they really don't care about America or her people - it's all politics with them.

In one way -- and one way only, Democrats remind me of Tyrannosaurus rex they just can't seem to reach across the aisle with such tiny little arms.
