WASHINGTON, June 5, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- Judicial Watch today announced that Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has ordered a hearing for June 6, 2018, regarding the personal email correspondence of Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Peter Kadzik with former Clinton presidential campaign chairman John Podesta, Clinton campaign officials, and others (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-00029)).

The court order came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch against the U.S. Department of Justice on January 15, 2017 after it failed to respond to a November 7, 2017 FOIA request seeking:
