Christians Nationwide Embark on Three Days of Prayer and Fasting for God to Raise Up Christian Leaders in the Election

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- In a powerful demonstration of faith and unity, Christians across the USA are setting aside three days for prayer and fasting, seeking God to raise up Christians leaders in the upcoming election. This nationwide ministry, led by Steven Andrew, pastor of the American Christian Denomination, calls believers to dedicate November 3rd to 5th as a period of fervent prayer and fasting.
 
Andrew asks Christians, churches, and the media to join in a special prayer for the nation, so "God blesses America:"

    Father,

    You, Lord, are America's God. We humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways (Psalm 33:12, 2 Chronicles 7:14).

    The USA loves You and, as You say, we have "no other gods." Jesus Christ is Lord of the USA (Exodus 20:3, John 14:6).

    We know Your will is for the USA to have Christian leaders now. You say, "... provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness" Exodus 18:21, "kings... judges... Kiss the Son" Psalm 2:10-12, "the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us" Isaiah 33:22, and to "love the Lord" Mark 12:30. The USA agrees with You.

    We seek You with all of our heart and all of our soul for You to raise up Christian leaders immediately. May Christians who have Jesus as judge, lawgiver, and king replace those disobeying You immediately (Isaiah 33:22, 1 John 5:14-15).

    We pray for the country and churches to agree with Your Word. Help the USA have a tender heart to love You (Exodus 18:21, Psalm 2:10-12, Mark 12:30).

    We pray in faith and believe we have the things we ask for since we ask for Your known will from the Holy Bible (Hebrews 11, Mark 11:24, Matthew 6:33).

    We praise You for Your mercy endures forever (Joel 2:13-18).
