THORNWOOD, Ny. April 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- Fr. Thomas Berg, Executive Director of The Westchester Institute for Ethics and the Human Person is available to discuss the first U.S. visit of Pope Benedict XVI. Pope Benedict arrives in the United States on Tuesday afternoon. He will participate in a number of events in Washington, DC and New York before departing the U.S. on Sunday evening.
Fr. Thomas Berg is a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of New York, and a member of the Legionaries of Christ, a Catholic religious order. Fr. Berg is very familiar with Benedict's written works, and has himself written frequently about this pope. Fr. Berg is a member of the ethics committee of New York's Empire State Stem Cell Board and specializes in bioethics and natural law theory, and he is a frequent commentator on issues of religion and public policy. He has been quoted and published in many national newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He will be doing live commentary for Fox5 on Sunday April 20th during the Pope's visit to New York.
