LYNCHBURG, Va., May 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Falwell Family, Church, and University Officials have announced that Dr. Falwell would want Liberty University's Baccalaureate and Commencement programs to be held as scheduled. 

The Baccalaureate Service will be held at 7PM on Friday, May 18th in the Sanctuary of the Thomas Road Baptist Church, and Commencement will be held in the Arthur L. Williams Stadium at 9:30AM on Saturday, May 19th.

Dr. Falwell will lie in repose first in the Grand Lobby of the Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center and later in the Sanctuary of the new Thomas Road Baptist Church.  The public is invited to pay their respects according to the following schedule:

First Viewing: Thursday, May 17, 9AM – 9PM and Friday, May 18, 9AM – 4PM; Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center -Grand Lobby, 1971 University Blvd., Lynchburg, VA 24502

Second Viewing: Sunday, May 20, 1PM – 8PM and Monday, May 21, 10AM – 6PM; Thomas Road Baptist Church, 1 Mountain View Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502

Funeral: Tuesday, May 22, 1PM; Thomas Road Baptist Church, 1 Mountain View Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502

Internment: The internment will be private.
