After graduating from Michigan State University (BA in Economics), Dennis joined the Ford Motor Company. There he ensued thirty years of service (fourteen of which were overseas). Retiring from Ford in 1988, he immediately started True Blue Sportfishing, guiding clients around the world. He and his wife Dorothy now live in Michigan. Dennis is the author of two memoirs about his life, Running the Good Race, and the award winning, Through the Eyes of a Fisherman.
