Operation Rescue Snubbed Again by Foulston on Memorial of Roe v Wade

Group vows to seek a federal investigation into Kansas corruption

WICHITA, Kansas, Jan. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- Pro-life supporters from across the nation were rebuffed for a third time when they gathered at the Sedgwick County Courthouse on the 34 Memorial of Roe v. Wade to petition District Attorney Nola Foulston for a redress of grievances concerning her obstruction of criminal charges against late-term abortionist George Tiller.

The group had gathered in Wichita for OR’s A Cry for Justice event that was inspired by Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who has been critical of Tiller’s late-term abortion business and told viewers that there should be thousand protesting Tiller’s abortion clinic in Wichita.

At a press conference, Operation Rescue President Troy Newman questioned whether the Attorney General’s office and the District Attorney General’s office should even be involved in the Tiller case, since both have ties to him.

OR spokesperson urged the media to report on the witness list, that contains the name of Dr. Ann Kristin Neuhaus, an associate of Tiller’s who signed off on his late-term abortions. Neuhaus submitted a statement in support of the complaint. “This is a simple matter of deductive reasoning,” she said. “This abortionist is listed as a witness in support of charges against Tiller of illegal late-term abortions. No one would know better than her what really went on inside that clinic.”

Dr. Gary Cass of the Center for Reclaiming America in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, told reporters that his group, along with the Christian Defense Coalition in Washington DC, would seek a federal investigation into why Kansas authorities will not enforce the law.

Dr. Cass commented on Foulston’s refusal to meet with the group. “I believe this shows us that Ms. Foulston understands that this case is becoming radioactive for her.”

Earlier in the day, A Cry for Justice attendees stood outside Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services amid a small group of abortion supporters to pray for a closure to the late-term abortion mill and offer help to abortion-bound women. No women entered the mill for abortions during the morning hours while the Christians were present.
