ENUMCLAW, Wash., June 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Changed behavior demands changed thinking," says Vickie Rohrbach, author of the new Bible study, "Faith to Faith."

"It's amazing how many Christians have head knowledge of what it means to be justified –declared righteous or not guilty by faith – but don't understand or believe it."

Rohrbach, a 20-year Bible study teacher from Aberdeen, South Dakota, understands the struggles of her fellow Christians; she has lived them herself. But years of study and teaching have cemented her belief that faith is all about applying God's Word to every part of our lives, including our thoughts.

In her 36-lesson study, Rohrbach re-acquaints readers with the basics of Christianity as she traces the history of the Israelites in their quest to enter the Promised Land. The study examines the covenant God made with Abraham and his descendants and shows readers how to apply these same concepts to their own spiritual lives.

"I love applying Old Testament concepts to our lives as New Testament believers," says Rohrbach. "In doing so, we discover that the promise of entering rest still stands for us today. We are invited to cease from our own efforts to gain God's acceptance and to rest in the finished work of Christ. That is our Promised Land."

Rohrbach notes that the enemy constantly attempts to get believers to doubt what God's Word says about their righteousness in Christ. "He knows that if we don't believe we are righteous, neither will we act like it."

Conversely, if we believe in this life-changing truth, we will live righteous and victorious lives.

Based on Romans 1:17, "Faith to Faith" reminds believers they are saved by grace. They are to live with "a righteousness that is by faith from first to last" or "from faith to faith" as it reads in the King James Version (KJV).

"The study challenges believers to continue to live in Christ in the same way that we received him... by faith," says Rohrbach.
