Christian Newswire/ -- In celebration of the International Day of Families, the Group of Friends of the Family, a new collaboration of 24 countries at the UN, will host Uniting Nations for a Family Friendly World. Along with over 50 civil society organizations, policy experts and an array of religious leaders, this high-level event will celebrate the family, its irreplaceable role as society's most important institution and explore policies to ensure the stability and vitality of the family for the flourishing of each person and the wellbeing of society.
The event will present best international practices to safeguard and empower the family.
