Christian Community Credit Union Promotes Marji Hughes to Executive Vice President

SAN DIMAS, Calif., June 4, 2020 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Marji Hughes to Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, effective May 28, 2020. Prior to her promotion, Hughes served as the Credit Union's Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. For over 28 years, Hughes has held leadership roles in various departments at the Credit Union including Operations, Member Services, Loan Administration, Information Technology, and Marketing.

"Marji has a true love for and deep commitment to the wellbeing of our Credit Union, and an undeniable loyalty to our staff," said Blair Korschun, the Credit Union's new CEO, who came on board in March 2020. "She has done an outstanding job as the Interim CEO and has been greatly helpful and supportive in helping me transition to my role as CEO. Her long tenure and vast experience in the financial services industry is a tremendous asset to the Credit Union." Hughes will serve as Korschun's right-hand person in implementing the Credit Union's purpose-driven strategic plan to help grow the Credit Union and advance God's Kingdom.

Hughes has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and an MBA from Azusa Pacific University.
