WQAD Issues Correction Regarding Baseless Claims Made Against Christkindl.LIVE by Sarah Mullins -- Board Member of The Davenport Freight House Farmers' Market

CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 2020 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Quad Cities' news organization WQAD recently published an article clarifying incorrect information they had previously published based on fabricated claims from Sarah Mullins (board member of The Davenport Freight House Farmers' Market), with regard to Christkindl LIVE – the 1st online virtual Christkindl market in the U.S.

WQAD published a new article on Sept. 14, more than two weeks after they initially covered Christkindl.LIVE. The original article was then updated when WQAD was contacted by Sarah Mullins from Quad Cities Christkindlmarkt (hosted by The Davenport Freight House Farmers' Market) organizer Sarah Mullins who made several false claims and baseless accusations against Christkindl.LIVE.

The organizers of Christkindl.LIVE represent a number of vendors that offer traditional Christmas gifts such as German cuckoo clocks, Christmas nutcrackers (https://www.christkindl.live/christmas-nutcracker/), and traditional hand-made Christmas gifts. In every communication, we clearly identify ourselves as being the Christkindl.LIVE brand, positioned to offer an online holiday shopping experience to people throughout the U.S., many of whom would not otherwise be able to shop their local Christkindl markets this year due to concerns over COVID-19.

We are not sure why or how Mullins (Profile link: https://www.facebook.com/sarah.mullins.3363) decided to make falsified accusations against us, and initiated a cyber-attack targeted our website on August 25, 2020. It bears noting that no one from the The Davenport Freight House Farmers' Market including Mullins, ever attempted to contact Christkindl.LIVE, or ask us any questions.

To date, since the legal Cease & Desist letter sent to Mullins, we have not received a formal response from either Mullins or Quad Cities Christkindlmarkt.

Christkindl.LIVE's corporate counsel is currently investigating the legal liability of Sarah Mullins and The Davenport Freight House Farmers' Market, and legal actions maybe taken should they fail to make a public apology.

We are grateful to WQAD, and in particular, to reporter Mr. Connor Day for making the correction and clearing the air regarding Christkindl.LIVE.

We're set to open on November 15, 2020.
