WASHINGTON, Aug. 29, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- Tomorrow, Patrina Mosley, Director of Life, Culture, and Women's Advocacy at Family Research Council, will speak in Richmond, VA at the National Day of Mourning event to commemorate the millions of black lives lost to abortion. Pro-life advocates from all across the country will gather in protest of Planned Parenthood opening three new mega-abortion centers in historically black neighborhoods. Other speakers include: Alveda King of Civil Rights for Unborn, Catherine Davis of the Restoration Project, and Dean Nelson of The Douglass Institute. The processional will continue on with stops in other heavily African-American cities, including Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Birmingham.

Patrina Mosley, Director of Life, Culture, and Women's Advocacy at Family Research Council, remarked:

"Abortion kills more black lives than all the other leading causes of death combined, and it is by design that black women have access to abortion clinics and abort at three and half times the rate of white women. Today, Planned Parenthood operates nearly 80 percent of its facilities in black and Hispanic communities and has dedicated campaigns to encourage these women to abort their children.

"African-Americans make up less than thirteen percent of the U.S. population yet receive nearly 40 percent of abortions.

"How long will we let this targeted killing of black babies continue?" concluded Mosley.
