MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 28 /Christian Newswire/ -- Richard Vara of Westerville Ohio, was appointed as the new state director by the Christian Coalition of America.

Richard Vara was selected to serve as the state director because of his experience, commitment to educate & train, reach out and offer support to Christians of all denominations across both party lines to collaborate on critical issues.

The newly appointed state director will focus on strengthening and building rapport with its members, supporters and potential advocate organizations to establish high-volume support on key public policy issues within the communities of common interest stakeholders across Ohio.

The two major challenges facing the incoming director are common to most organizations of its type: i) effectively educating the community-of-common-interest-stakeholders to respond to call-to-action’s in a timely manner –and- ii) persuasively compel Ohio supporters of the need to establish momentum by building broad-based strategic support from both conservative and progressive advocate organizations to positively affect public policy decisions.
