Entertaining, Wholesome Programming Keeps Smile of a Child Number One for Kid's TV

It was on that Christmas Day that Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest Christian network and America's favorite faith-and-family channel, launched Smile of a Child, the 24-hour network dedicated to quality, uplifting, and entertaining programming just for kids. And from that day to now, the folks at SMILE have made it their mission to air the types of educational and inspirational programming that can change lives and forge positive destinies. This season is no exception.

Among the all-new offerings on tap at Smile of a Child TV are:
-- Come on Over! It's music, comedy, and a half-hour creative play time just for kids! Join Joel as he cooks up colorful kid-powered music videos, hands-on arts and crafts, and a whole lot of whimsical make-believe in his back-yard studio. Just about anything can happen when Joel joins up with a cast of quirky and unforgettable characters. Airs Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and, beginning October 5th, Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (PST).
-- Adventures in Booga Booga Land. This wacky, fun-filled show features two high-spirited buddies, Marty the Monkey and Gerard the Giraffe. Kids of all ages will enjoy each episode of this light-hearted comedy as the jungle duo bounce from one adventure to the next, meet an exciting cast of new friends in the process. Airs Fridays at 4:30 p.m., PST.
-- Bedbug Bible Gang. Every warm and welcoming show features special hosts Buzzer and Sparky as they use delightful rhyme, unforgettable sing-alongs, and exciting games to introduce kids to the most beloved stories of the Bible. This innovative program combines 3-D animation and puppets to reinforce Jesus' love to young viewers. Coming to Smile of a Child in November (broadcast time to be determined).
In addition to new programs, Smile of a Child is also bringing back some viewer favorites with all new fun shows, like:
-- The Lads TV. One of SMILE's most popular programs, The Lads TV features a talented and crazy rock trio from New Zealand, who are well on their way to getting the musical break of a lifetime. Follow the Lads as they sing and play their way through all sorts of obstacles on their way to success. Airs Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. PST.
-- iShine KNECT. Now in its third season, this hit show is designed to help kids and parents connect while teaching young people how to live out their faith at home, church, and school. Airs Sunday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. PST.
-- Mike's Inspiration Station. This Smile of Child favorite features arts and crafts for children of all ages. While older kids love to work along with host Michael Cariglio on drawing, painting, sculpting, and other projects, younger viewers join in just to see how the colorful crafts come together. With animated sidekick Booker T Bible adding inspiration from Scripture to tie the episodes together, this easy-going series will keep kids tuning in. Airs Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. PST.
