FLEMINGTON, N.J., Aug. 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- Revelation Generation today announced that the event is being endorsed by Father Frank Pavone, a nationally known Catholic priest and pro-life advocate. Revelation Generation, is an annual day-long Christian Music festival scheduled for September 2nd at Revelation Farms in Frenchtown, N.J. Frank Pavone’s association, Priests for Life, is joining over 100 churches and ministries who are collaborating with the festival in an effort to promote a shared devotion to families as well as the physical and spiritual well-being of local communities.

Priests for Life was started in 1991 to support Catholic clergy in these missionary efforts. The association, primarily made up of Catholic bishops, priests and deacons, also has a lay auxiliary membership for pro-family ministries from other demoninations. Since Frank Pavone inception as National Director of Priests for Life in 1993, the association has grown to 50 full time employees.

Ordained by Cardinal John O’Connor in 1988, Frank Pavone began his missionary journey to help preserve the institution and value of the family, later serving on Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family institute. In a commitment to all Christians, Father Pavone also serves as President of the National Pro-Life Religious Council comprised of groups from several denominations against abortion. Noted as one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the nation, he is often invited to speak on many popular national programs and has appeared on Larry King Live and Good Morning America. He has also been quoted in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Traveling across the US, he is an advocate for drug awareness among teens and pro-abstinence views, a huge aspect of the Revelation Generation event.
