VATICAN CITY, Aug. 18, 2022 /Christian Newswire/ -- VITAE Global Foundation announced its inaugural VITAE SUMMIT 2022 to be held August 31 - September 1 at the Vatican.

Internationally renowned artists and leaders will join the Holy Father and VITAE Global to start a conversation about how to foster a culture of encounter, hope, and unity through arts, media and entertainment.

Pope Francis said, "Artists have a very important role in society: to be guardians of beauty in this world, ambassadors of the culture of encounter, and witnesses of hope for all humanity."

Over the past several years, VITAE Global founder and president, Luis Quinelli and the executive team of the foundation had a series of private audiences with Pope Francis at Casa Santa Marta to present the Summit proposal to the Holy Father with the Vatican as the location of the inaugural VITAE SUMMIT 2022 and to express its mission to positively impact people's hearts and to elevate the culture.

The highly anticipated two-day VITAE SUMMIT consists of a private gathering for world renowned artists at the Vatican Academy of Sciences where they, together with the Holy Father and VITAE Global, will work collaboratively to establish a pathway forward to answer this call.

Following the highly anticipated Vatican gathering, VITAE SUMMIT organizers will host different international events and initiatives to gather creatives and influencers in cities such as London, Mexico City and Los Angeles. These events will carry forward the important work initiated at the inaugural event taking place at the Vatican this year.
