LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world leader of faith and values based family programming, announced the television broadcast premier of their latest thought provoking episodic offering "The Stranger," (Kelly's Filmworks LTD).
This life enriching series is based loosely on the "Perfect Stranger" films, also produced by Kelly's Filmworks. The series revolves around the concept of a modern-day Jesus living among us.
Each 30-minute episode presents a retelling of a New Testament encounter with Jesus (Jefferson Moore), portrayed as a wise and compassionate "stranger," interacting with people from different walks of society.
In episode one, a wayward woman (Stephanie Vickers) struggling with lifestyle choices (based on the Woman at the Well) encounters Jesus, and her life is transformed in a powerful way.
"This beautifully produced series will both entertain and inspire viewers of all ages," says faith and values based media expert Susan Zahn of WDC Media PR. "'The Stranger' is family programming at its very best."
"The Stranger" debuts tonight on TBN at 9:00 PM (PST) and airs weekly on Wednesdays during the same time-slot.
