LIBERTYVILLE, Ill., Oct. 28, 2020 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Institute on Religious Life is pleased to announce that over 40 religious communities who are Affiliate Members of the IRL are participating in "40 Days of Prayer." Join these holy, joyful, religious priests, brothers, and sisters in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for the friends and benefactors of the IRL, for our Church and for our nation from October 30th – December 8th, 2020.

For 40 days, IRL Affiliate Communities will be offering prayers, Holy Hours and Masses for the many intentions and needs of the IRL family, our Church and the nation, in this hour of need. We ask that you too be part of this prayer campaign by offering your own prayers before the Blessed Sacrament or during Mass, asking for blessings upon those in religious life who have answered God’s call to serve Him with an undivided heart.

You can participate in this supernaturally significant event by submitting your prayer intentions to the IRL. We hope that this time of mutual prayer will result in an incredible outpouring of graces, blessings, and mercy upon our Nation, Church, and families, in these times of tribulation.

The IRL will be posting daily information on Social Media about the communities participating in this event. The 40 Days of Prayer will conclude with a Virtual Celebration on December 8th at 7:oo p.m. Be a part of this most powerful form of prayer, united with many dedicated men and women in the presence of Jesus Himself, which is the most important thing we can do in these most difficult times.
