MEDIA ADVISORY, April 28 /Christian Newswire/ -- There have been many interpretations of the Biblical text of Genesis. For centuries, theologians and philosophers have debated the truth and meaning of the stories contained in Genesis. None of those stories has been more hotly debated than the story of Noah. Now, in the new book Noah: A First Time Boater Arker -- Philosopher, (published by AuthorHouse), author Viggo Hansen shares the inspiring story of boater Noah, with a fresh, new, humorous and philosophical perspective that will undoubtedly challenge readers to reexamine their take on boating as well as modern cosmology. The thesis is that God and His Goddess are plenty upset with how humans are behaving. They decide a new beginning is essential. The how to get rid of the old and replace it with an improved paradigm is explored in this book.

Through the use of light hearted commentary and insight, we see how Noah masters a plethora of "practical" issues of daily life on his Ark and how his sassy wife deals with the day to day psycho-social issues of nubile animals on their first cruise. An excellent example is Noah's handling of the carnivore's voracious appetites to keep them from devouring each other and everyone else on board. Noah creates the first ever micro brewery using rutabagas, resulting in the red meat eaters becoming compliant and docile shipmates. This will become the model for modern cruise boats.

Like Noah, Dr. Viggo Hansen was born in the arid town of Plentywood, MT to Danish immigrants. During the great depression his family moved to Askov, MN, home of the famous rutabaga - bases for Noah's on board brew. After learning to speak English at age seven, Hansen graduated as valedictorian of his high school class. He then attended Grand View College in Des Moines, IA, followed by University of MN and the USAF, where he served as a nuclear weapons officer. He then returned to UMN and earned four additional degrees. He began teaching at SUNY, Oneonta, NY, and then Cal. State Northridge where he became involved in international schools in some 20 nations. Today Viggo Hansen serves as consultant to Alliant U, CSUN and overseas schools. Previous writings include math books for Scott, Foresman and John Wiley. He is also the author of "Boundary Layer People".
