SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan. 20, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- Attendees of the Walk for Life West Coast are gearing up for some exciting speakers at the rally this year. Among the speakers is Julia Holcomb, who has a powerful pro-life story to tell, and she is not afraid to share it. On January 24th, at the Walk for Life Coast in San Francisco, she will give her testimony of post-abortion hope and healing to tens of thousands of people at the pre-walk rally.

Julia Holcomb, desperate to escape from a broken family, became the legal ward of Aerosmith rock star Steven Tyler. She was only 16 years old and became lost in a horrifying world of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. After a year of living with Steven, Julia became pregnant with a baby boy. The pregnancy, initially welcomed by the couple, became unwelcome as their relationship deteriorated. Finally, Julia was pressured to have a saline abortion five months into the pregnancy.

After a long journey, she found healing and forgiveness from God for her abortion. She is now happily married and the mother of seven children.

Holcomb explains in an article she wrote for Life Site News, "I pray that all those who have had abortions, or have participated in any way in an abortion procedure, may find in my story, not judgment or condemnation, but a renewed hope in God's steadfast love, forgiveness and peace."

The 11th annual Walk for Life West Coast will take place on January 24, 2015. Julia Holcomb will share her amazing story of hope at the rally, which will begin at 12:30 PM in San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza. Organizers expect to produce a bigger, more dynamic, grassroots Walk for Life West Coast that will demonstrate a growing trend: America is becoming more pro-life.

Founded in 2005 by a group of San Francisco Bay Area residents, the Walk for Life West Coast's mission is to change the perceptions of a society that thinks abortion is an answer. Walk participants are expected from throughout the Bay Area and across the United States and Canada.
