Unite Concert to Feature Amy Grant, Matt Maher, Sanctus Real, Ike Ndolo, Jon Guerra and The Dominican Sisters of Mary on Sunday, April 19th

Christian Newswire/ -- The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist are happy to announce their first major concert on Sunday, April 19th. The Unite Concert will feature some of the top names in the Christian music industry; Amy Grant and Matt Maher along with special guests Sanctus Real, Jon Guerra, Ike Ndolo as well as a rare performance by the Dominican Sisters of Mary themselves. The concert will be held at Eastern Michigan Convocation Center, 799 North Hewitt Road, Ypsilanti, MI, with doors opening at 4:00 pm EST and the concert beginning at 5:00 pm EST. Free parking will also be available. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, January 22nd, with ticket prices ranging from $12.00 to $40.00 and may be purchased at

"The purpose of presenting this concert is to provide an evening of entertainment for the entire family and for Christians of all denominations," explains Sr. John Dominic, Principal of Spiritus Sanctus Academy and member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. We wanted artists that would appeal to every generation and are very happy to have them be a part of this special event."
The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist were canonically established in 1997 and have taken their messages of faith to the modern world through music and television. Several of the nuns have been guests on The Oprah Winfrey Show more than once and made it to the finals of the Game Show Network's highly-rated The American Bible Challenge. The Sisters released their debut international album, Mater Eucharistiae to wide acclaim and the project stayed No. 1 on Billboard's Classical Traditional Chart for six weeks. Their instant success led to features on CBS This Morning, NPR's All Things Considered, FOX & Friends, among many others.
