Hand Lettering Co. uses Innovative Method to Create Scripture-Based Artwork that Beautifies the Home and Elevates the Soul

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 23, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ --  With yearly orders in the thousands that come from over twenty countries worldwide, it's clear that Hand Lettering Co. has tapped into a major market demand: for Scripture-based artwork that is painstakingly crafted, authentically produced, and comes from the heart.

After just two years, Hand Lettering Co. founder Chris Wright is about to take his production to a whole new level, by using an innovative method to create more designs that beautify the home and elevate the soul.

When Chris first founded Hand Lettering Co., interest gathered rapidly via Instagram and Pinterest. Customers began asking for his Scripture quotations, beautified by ingenious designs and classic flourishes, to be featured on a larger variety of media. Chris was able to expand into certain kinds of wooden media with his wood-burning pen but was limited in scope because of the tool's size. In order to answer these requests, he needed an instrument with more precision and power.

When he came across the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser Engraving Machine, Chris was instantly hooked. It was exactly what he needed to translate his ideas to material.

Others use this tool in custom laser-engraved products, but few use it in conjunction with typographic design. Chris' plans for the machine would engage full extent of its capabilities while using the engraver in a fresh new way. With it, he will be able to execute his original hand-lettered designs on leather, wood, acrylic, glass, and much more.

In addition, the engraving machine would allow Chris to produce his pieces more efficiently. As a result, he'll be able to spend more time creating new designs, as well as broaden the company's reach with a greater variety of products.

His gratitude for Hand Lettering Co.'s customers and community has only grown as he has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the purchase of the laser engraver and already seen so many partnering with him.

If the fundraising campaign is successful, expect to see a lot more hand-lettered designs in the following months, as well as an expanded selection of products available on the Hand Lettering Co. website. There are also hopes of opening a storefront in their hometown of San Diego, Ca. where they can host workshops, art shows, and welcome friends like you.
