Contact: Kyle Rogers, Jyra Films, 817-366-5358

MEDIA ADVISORY, Nov. 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- Fort Worth based Jyra Films partnered with the One Heart Project to produce a video highlighting One Heart's efforts to reach a forgotten population of America. Each year, more than 2 million juveniles are arrested. 100,000 of them are sent to prison. Developed in concert with the One Heart Movie, the One Heart Project will mobilize millions of Americans to join a national movement to transform the lives of juveniles who are incarcerated and at-risk.

This video played a key role in communicating this opportunity to a group of 1000 attendees at the One Heart Project kick-off event at Cowboys' Stadium Monday, November 8th hosted by Jason Witten and other Dallas Cowboy players and coaches.

Jyra Films, a turn-key video production company in the Fort Worth area serves ministries and non-profit organizations locally and globally in their efforts to reach the lost, the poor, and victims of injustice.

"We seek to capture and craft compelling stories of the least of these. Their needs, their circumstances, how they can be reached and what organizations are doing to impact them," commented Jyra Films President Kyle Rogers.

The video produced for the One Heart Project (video at www.jyrafilms.com/one-heart-project) focused on it's two results oriented initiatives: redirection and reentry.

The challenges that incarcerated youth face when reentering society often set them up for failure. The One Heart reentry initiative will provide a residential environment for them to successfully transition back into society. At this facility, programs will equip participants with the tools and skills necessary for a true second chance, including: character development, life skills, job skills, financial skills, and etiquette. In addition, residents will be provided with opportunities for practical hands-on job training and experience, and an introduction to potential employers -- all within a safe and nurturing environment, led by house parents, that will provide an environment of mentoring and personal growth. The initial facility, in North Texas, will become a model for other facilities across the nation.

The One Heart redirection initiative provides intensive curricular programming to equip those currently incarcerated, those in the probation system, and those identified as high-risk youth. Programs are standardized and measurable and will be deployed through alliances with local and national service partners.

Through these two initiatives, the One Heart Project will impact thousands of lives in Texas, and hundreds of thousands across the nation. The result will transform neighborhoods, communities, and most importantly, individual lives.
