BROOKLYN, N.Y., Dec. 6, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Alma Rivera is coming to Brooklyn NY this December. The popular Christian recording artist will lead Metro Ministries, whose Senior Pastor is Bill Wilson, in a pre-Christmas celebration filled with praise and worship on December 11th, 2011 at 9AM, 11AM and also at the Spanish service at 1PM. Alma Rivera is a known within the Christian music circuit with past performances at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas and also with Grammy Award-winning artist Israel Houghton. 

Metro Ministries invited Alma Rivera to kick-off the Christmas season with her special appearance in December because of her popularity amongst a diverse group of Christians. Alma, who sings in both English and Spanish, has travelled throughout the U.S., Mexico, South America, Canada and Puerto Rico as a worship leader.  Her dedication to the Lord has inspired others to live their own lives with trust and faith in God. Through her life's work as a worship leader, singer and songwriter, Alma Rivera was the perfect match for Metro Ministries.
