Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced its endorsement of Star Parker, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in California's 37th Congressional District. SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser said of the endorsement:

Dannenfelser praised Parker's rise from a struggling single teen mother, after having had multiple abortions, to author, columnist, vocal pro-life advocate and "women's hero." Parker is founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal & Education, a non-profit think tank dealing with social policy issues. She is also the author of three books and a regular guest speaker for the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute's college campus lecture program and events like the pro-life Family Research Council's Value Voters Summit.
Parker will face pro-abortion Democrat incumbent Laura Richardson in the November general election.
