Today is a very special day in our nation's history.  Today is the National Day of Prayer and our nation needs prayer.  Some people are putting all of their hope into politics.  However, politics is not going to change our nation.

God is the only answer.

You may wonder how God is going to change our nation.  Really it is simple, as some of our people start to respond to our Lord, they will begin to respond to the Holy Spirit and will produce Godly legislation.  Our nation is totally unsuited for anyone except Christians.  This is true and if we go away from God our government will destroy us.

It doesn't matter whether you are a Democrat, Republican or an Independent.  Our nation was founded as a Christian Nation.  Our nation was founded upon the principles of good government and those are the same principles as the principles of Christianity.

The church has lost its influence upon people, one person at a time.  The answer for this nation is not just political.  The real strength of the church is in our ability to change the hearts of our people.  In fact, the Lord came to me and said, "Don, you do not have a political problem in America today.  Instead you have a problem with Religion."

Today, we live in a political system where the government is not even acknowledging our Day of Prayer.  However, I believe in prayer and that prayer is a powerful force for all of us.  I also believe we need to pray for our nation and all of its elected officials, to put God first in their public lives.

That is why this day has been set aside... as a day for all of us to pray for America.

Therefore, I encourage all of you to pray for America every day.  Fellowship with the Lord and pray about the Godliness of America every day.  My special Thank You goes out to all of you who took the time to read this!  Now my prayer is that you will take the requested action.
