The National Pro-Life Religious Council is an umbrella organization that serves as a catalyst for Pro-life Organizations within the Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Methodist, Lutheran, Charismatic Episcopal, United Church of Christ, Orthodox, and other churches to unite in the pursuit of a common goal: the preservation of the sanctity of human life.
As part of the effort to establish a public presence in the social arena, the council joins with the pro-life community of Birmingham and the surrounding area in ecstatic celebration over the suspension of the Summit abortion clinic license. The council applauds the tireless efforts of those who have prayed and counseled at the clinic regularly—they may now see the fruits of their labors. Now that the Health Department has taken notice of the atrocities taking place at one clinic, the NPRC calls for a thorough inspection of the other facilities in the area.
It is only a matter of time before health officials across the country will recognize that a horrendous violence is being inflicted upon women and their unborn children at these centers whether the procedure “succeeds” or not.
