LOVELAND, Colo., June 24, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Hints and strategies for healthy eating will be discussed at Lifetree Café.
The program features an exclusive filmed interview with Joel Salatin, author of several books including Everything I Want to Do Is Illegal: War Stories From the Local Food Front and Holy Cows and Hog Heaven: The Food Buyer's Guide to Farm Friendly Food.
The film will be screened across the country next week at Lifetree Cafés, which are community forums.
"Between contaminated eggs and genetically engineered food, people are wondering if their supermarket is trying to kill them," says Lifetree representative Craig Cable.
Special resources will offer help in locating healthy food sources, and participants will discuss the role the government should play in deciding food choices.
The 60-minute program, titled "Dangerous Foods: Is your supermarket killing you" combines the film with live conversation among attendees. It will be offered in venues across the country during the week of June 26. Locations and times may be found at www.lifetreecafe.com.
Admission to the event is free.
