I have been advocating against the immoral practice of abortion, homosexuality and many other issues of morality for 20 years. I certainly had hoped through our efforts that the world would have turned out better, than where we are going now. Sadly, we as a nation are turning away from the living God and giving ourselves over to greater wickedness, apostasy and depravity.

Biblical Family Advocates focus was to alert and educate churches as to what is going on in the world around them with the hope that churches would reach out to their communities. It would have been an awesome thing to see many more churches conduct compassionate outreaches to women seeking abortion; help teens caught in homosexuality or even see the political moral landscape change by simply having more godly laws.

It has been gratifying to see actual pre born children saved from abortion because of our efforts. It's amazing that with our little resources, we challenged literally hundreds of thousands on the internet or thousands in the churches from the pulpit in the US and in other countries. We have enjoyed showing how God's Word addressed every moral issue. It has been an awesome adventure to reach out to so many people and find many precious souls who share our vision and passion to reach the world.

But I have come to realize that though all of our efforts have been worthwhile, we have in large part been addressing the symptoms rather than the cause. It has been convenient to fight against faceless movements, rather than trying to reach people personally one on one just like Christ did. Though it is definitely needed for Christians to speak clearly against immoral movements, if we are not trying to reveal Christ to people on a personal level, we have left our first mandate from our Lord, to reach the world with the gospel and teachings of Christ. The Bible says that those who do not gather with the Lord are scattering.

I have come to understand why the homosexual and the abortion movements remain strong. It is that the church of Jesus Christ has lost most of its true saltiness, its desire to suffer loss for Christ and its reverence for the Word. We have lost that weeping, passionate cry of the soul to abide in Christ daily and reach out to those headed for hell. We have instead embraced a weak, lazy view of our faith and our Lord.

The church has bought into such amazing unbiblical error that I have concluded that the vast majority of flocks in the United States are severely spiritually compromised. We can see this in the growing emergent church movements and the brazen homosexual movements in the no longer hallowed halls of churches.
