The Boy Scouts are openly disobeying God," said Pastor Steven Andrew upon hearing that the Boy Scouts voted to admit open homosexuals. "The Boy Scouts don't care about the souls of young men-because the Bible warns that unrepentant homosexuals don't go to Heaven, and they don't fear God (1Corinthians 6:9-11)," the ministry president added. In Genesis 13:13 God says, "the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD."
He encourages parents to use a Christian alternative to the Boy Scouts like Royal Rangers and others. The reason is that a child's salvation and following Jesus Christ are God's priorities.
When asked: "Are Christian boycotts Biblical?" He explained "yes. Jesus drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple and the Bible says not to help the wicked, or share in other peoples sins (Matthew 21:13, 2Chronicles 19:2, 1Timothy 5:22). He shared that homosexual activists like Barack Obama and Starbucks cause Christians to be persecuted."
The Boy Scouts and Obama overlook the homosexual health concerns. CDC reports that one in five homosexuals have HIV, with many unaware they are sick. The average homosexual dies at 42 years and has a higher depression rate, Cameron reports.
The pastor says, "Jesus taught the most Christ-like and compassionate response to sinners. Jesus said, 'Repent, and believe the Gospel.'"
