Church Community Builder (CCB) Adds Robust Communications Enhancements to its Socially-Driven Church Management Solution
CCB Now Offers Customizable Email Notifications, iPhone Interface Upgrade, and Needs Management Tools
MEDIA ADVISORY, Aug. 10 /
Christian Newswire/ --Church Community Builder (CCB) (
www.churchcommunitybuilder.com), the original web-based church management solution (ChMS), has added new communications enhancements to its socially-driven church management solution which will help churches foster greater community and connectedness by expanding their ability to customize communications with their congregations.
"As communication technology advances, CCB has been and continues to be on the cutting-edge in offering our customers the most innovative tools," says Steve Caton, vice president of sales and marketing for CCB. "We aim to introduce new enhancements as these technologies are adopted into mainstream culture; allowing our customers to effectively reach people for Christ in a modern and relevant fashion."
CCB Communications Enhancements Include:
Customizable Email Notifications: Since many people use social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, it is a challenge to remember when and where to go in order to gain the latest information and receive timely communication.
Like many social networking sites, CCB now offers every user the option of activating email notifications of activity and action items that are relevant to them. Whether a new event has been scheduled, a new comment is posted on a Group Discussion Board, a new file is uploaded or any number of other activities, the CCB user can be immediately notified about the activity and seamlessly linked to the details once logged in. This adds an entirely new level of communication and convenience, eliminating the frustration of missing time-sensitive communications and making the community-building process more proactive.
* Benefit: Customizable email notifications to ensure more timely communications between a church and its congregation.
iPhone Interface Upgrade: CCB has added a retained login feature to the iPhone interface so that users do not have to enter their username and password every time they use this feature.
*Benefit: iPhone users experience more streamlined CCB use from their phones without having to re-login each time they want to access information.
Needs Management: Every church community has a variety of needs that can be met, whether it be a single mom that requires car repairs or a family that could use meals after the birth of a child. CCB's Needs Management tools allow for the creation of a high-level "Need" with multiple tasks or action items within it. Each Need can then be communicated throughout the church or within a specific group of people, allowing them to respond by accepting responsibility for one or more items within each Need. Those who organize the Need are then notified as each item is accepted enabling them to inform people that assistance is on its way.
* Benefit: Churches will be better able to respond and care for their members as needs arise within the congregation.
Additional enhancements released this summer include: improved email attachment handling to streamline performance and avoid SPAM designations; giving statements that now include active pledge commitments and related details; easier login acquisition that simplifies the process of getting people involved; customizable communication preferences to tailor what users receive from the church and when; and enhanced user interface features to increase the overall ease-of-use that has always been a hallmark for CCB.
"Overall, we've added more user-driven functionality that will enhance the churches ability to communicate more effectively and increase the adoption of the software throughout the church community," adds Caton. "Our solution aims to enhance connectedness and a sense of belonging in every aspect. These enhancements simply extend our capabilities to a whole new level."
Because CCB is completely web-based, all current and future customers will have these enhancements at their fingertips immediately. For more information or to speak with someone at Church Community Builder about this and other valuable functionality, email
