BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Aug. 21, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- Vale Church in Bloomington, IL, welcomes Pastor Shawn Jensen as their new lead pastor. Shawn previously founded Authentic Church in Pontiac, IL, in 2012 and has served as their lead pastor for over ten years. He will fully enter his new role at Vale Church on September 18.

Shawn will be joined by his wife of 12 years, Lizzie, and their three daughters. He graduated from Victory College before entering into pastoral ministry. Shawn and Lizzie are passionate about sharing Jesus' name and message to as many people as possible. In order to fulfill this passion, their mission is to create an authentic place where all walks of life can come and experience Jesus. "We truly believe that when people look like Jesus, it affects all the spaces around them," Pastor Shawn shared.

Shawn is grateful for the friendship and mentorship of Vale Church's previous lead pastor, Ted Max. On the weekend of April 22, 2023, Pastor Ted announced his intention to transition out of the Lead Pastor role of Vale Church to a new season of ministry after 17 years of faithful service.

Vale Church is a safe place to explore your faith, ask questions and do life with others who are just like you. At Vale, you belong, even before you believe. Vale Church holds services on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m. You can expect live worship music and an inspiring message during the services. Each service lasts one hour.

Vale Church is excited to welcome Pastor Shawn to the team as they continue to make Jesus known to the community and world.
