ATLANTA, Oct. 1, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Orange Conference, a conference for entire family ministry teams, will be held April 30 - May 2, 2014, in Atlanta. Over 5,000 key influencers -- senior, next gen, student, children's and preschool leaders -- will gather to experience the power of "Yes," and learn new insights into influencing the faith and character of the next generation.

This year's theme, "Yes," will show how just one word can change everything. Yes, you can do less and accomplish more. Yes, you will get more momentum when you function like a team. Yes, every kid can be connected with a consistent adult leader. Yes, what happens at home is as important as what happens at church. A lot can happen when you start acting like the answer is yes.

Every year thousands of family ministry teams attend to get realigned, hear new ideas, discover resources and answers that are specific to their needs, network with innovators, bond as a team and have fun. And with over 100 different breakouts offered during the three-day event, attendees can attend with their team but choose topics that relate to their specific role.

Drawing together speakers, authors, and church leaders from around the world, Orange sets out to rethink the way the traditional church model approaches family ministry. The event is structured around the Orange Strategy of partnering families with the church to have a greater impact on the faith of kids and youth. "Thinking Orange" blends two vital, yet often unconnected worlds to reshape the current ministry model.

A few of the amazing speakers who have already said yes for 2014 include: Andy Stanley, Perry Noble, Mark Batterson, Doug Fields, Sue Miller, Reggie Joiner, Geoff Surratt, Jeff Henderson, Carey Nieuwhof, Kara Powell, Brooklyn Lindsay, Kenny Conley, and Tom Shefchunas. Dozens more will be added over the coming months.

Registration opens on Thursday, October 10, and will feature a one-day offer of $80 off regular rates and Insider First Access to workshops. For more information, please visit TheOrangeConference.com.
