NEWHALL, Calif., Sept. 11, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Cross Encounters Radio, hosted by retired deputy sheriff, street evangelist and author Tony Miano, is expanding from its regular Sunday evening, 6-8 PM (PST) time slot, to two new time slots during the week.
Beginning Monday, September 16, 2013, Cross Encounters Radio will air on Monday afternoons, 3-4 PM (PST), and on Sunday evenings, 6-7 PM (PST). With the change in days and times comes an exciting change in format.
The new Monday afternoon program (Cross Encounters News) will focus on addressing current events through the lens of a decidedly Christian worldview. The Sunday evening program (Cross Encounters Theology) will focus on introducing the audience to important Christian doctrines with an eye on how these doctrines impact apologetics and evangelism.
Tony Miano will continue to host the program. Joining him on each broadcast will be Ken Cook (Christian Apologetic and Research Ministry), Chris Hohnholz (producer/engineer), and Richard Story (manager/researcher).
According to host Tony Miano, "Cross Encounters Radio has aired on Sunday nights for more than a year. The team agreed it was time to kick things up a notch and try to reach a wider audience. We also agreed it was time to be more intentional about not only encouraging listeners, but also equipping them to share and defend their faith in Jesus Christ. The primary focus of the show remains the same -- to lift up, bring honor to, and proclaim Jesus Christ and His glorious gospel. We are not ashamed of the gospel, on Cross Encounters Radio."
Cross Encounters Radio is aired on BlogTalkRadio. Listeners can tune in to listen to the live program, as well as listen to and/or download all of the previous programs at:
