OAK HILL, Virginia, October 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- Independent record label and music publisher, A.M.TuneShop, LLC (BMI), has announced that "WAiT - it's a musical!" by songwriter E. Christine (Chris) Anderson, will debut in New Delhi, India in November, 2007. Nearly four hundred children will participate in eight shows at the Helen Jerwood Hall at St. Thomas' Girls School. The shows will be directed by Sharmila B. Livingston. This is the first time the Christian pop rock musical will be performed on the continent of Asia.

"WAiT - it's a musical!" is set in ancient Israel and focuses on the key characters in the Biblical story of Jesus' birth. The thirteen original songs of the Christmas musical feature several styles - including R&B, Funk and Latin. The Klezmer-style song 'Their Leader' won a GRAMMY in the Streets contest sponsored by BMI and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences in 2003.
