Christian Newswire/ -- On Tuesday, January 4 at 3:00 PM Secretary of State Delbert Hoseman will be holding a press conference in the Capitol with the sponsors of the three citizens' initiatives that will be on the ballot in 2011 – Les Riley for the Personhood Amendment, Sen. Joey Fillingame for Voter ID, and Farm Bureau President David Wade for Eminent Domain. Following the press conference, Secretary of State Hoseman will deliver the amendments to the Legislature with instructions to place them on the ballot.
At 4:00PM, Lieutenant Governor Bryant and Personhood Mississippi will hold a joint press conference on the South Steps of the State Capitol, including a thanksgiving prayer and campaign kickoff rally. Speakers will include Lieutenant Governor Bryant, Joseph Parker from the American Family Association, Dr. Beverly McMillan of Pro-Life Mississippi, Anne Reed from Parkgate Crisis Pregnancy Center, Reverend Ben James, Senate Chaplain and Pastor of First Baptist Church of Prentiss, Rob Chambers of the Christian Action Commission, and Personhood initiative sponsor Les Riley.
