Douglas Shaw & Associates Names New CEO; Broadens its Integrated Marketing Offering

NAPERVILLE, Ill., March 7, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Douglas Shaw & Associates (DSA) has named veteran marketing leader Tim Close its CEO as of February 1, 2012. Douglas Shaw continues as Chairman of the agency.

Close most recently worked as senior vice president of marketing and strategic initiatives for Zondervan, a leading Christian publisher. He also helped start a multi-channel digital media platform for Zondervan that was sold in 2010. Prior to Zondervan, Close was chief technology officer and group director of interactive business for a leading photographic specialty retailer, and was executive vice president of marketing for Restaurant.com prior to that. He spent several years as vice president of marketing and communications for Serta, a leading furniture manufacturer.
