Contact: Laura Powers, 972-743-3351

PLANO, Texas, May 8, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Life Central Drama Players are proud to present their annual comedy show, Saturday Night Life, which features original sketches and live musical performances. Directed by Laura Powers, Saturday Night Life offers a fun-filled night of laughs, surprises, and performances that are appropriate for the entire family. The show will be held on Saturday, May 16 with a special Friday night edition on May 15. Both performances will begin at 7:30 pm in the Life Central auditorium at 2301 Premiere Drive, Plano, TX. Admission is free. Doors open at 7:00 pm.

This year's guest host, Julie Cook, will be joined by special musical guest, Nate Binion and the Moonshine Miracle, an alternative band based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moonshine Miracle draws from jazz, gospel, folk-rock and indie music to produce a sound that ranges from catchy, to soothing, to challenging. They call it "touchable art" and musical surrealism; meaning, it will still be reminiscent of something old, but reminiscent of something forward, something simple while being complex, drawing the dancer to move while moving the listener.

The full cast for Saturday Night Life includes Kris Banks, Julie Cook, Von Daniel, Logan Manning, Beth Klongpayabal, Mike Klongpayabal, Brittany McClintock, Steve McKiddy, Lidya Pixley, Laura Powers, Gary Powers, and Derrick Sample.

"Saturday Night Life is a favorite with our audiences," states Paul Cook, Senior Pastor at Life Central Church. "We are delighted to bring the show back to the Life Central stage in 2015 with new comedy sketches and musical performances."
