Historic 40 Days of 24-7 Worship Will Happen Continuously Through Election Day

WASHINGTON, Aug. 28, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- DAVID'S TENT DC will be held September 25 through election day, November 6th, 2012 on The White House Ellipse in Washington DC. For 40 days, continuous 24 hour worship in joyous celebration will take place on the The White House grounds.

"We are very excited about this time in David's Tent," says director of the Washington House of Prayer, Jason Hershey.  "Before America ever goes into the polls to vote for the leadership of this country, we want to first enthrone Jesus on our praises continuously for 40 days. DAVID'S TENT DC is an opportunity for Christians on a national level to congregate in Washington for worship to Jesus. "DAVID'S TENT DC is not about praying specifically for elections or the future of a nation, though these things are important and scriptural," comments Hershey. "The heart of God is found in worship and knowing our victory in Jesus and the Kingdom he preached. These fundamentals are a cause for celebration!! So, that is what it is really about.
