Statement of Exodus Mandate on Dr. Falwell's Home Going

Contact: Chaplain E. Ray Moore, Exodus Mandate, 803-714-1744

COLUMBIA, SC, May 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Exodus Mandate offers condolences to the family of Dr. Jerry Falwell, who was called home today.

Statement by E. Ray Moore, Jr, Chaplain (Lt.Col.) USAR Ret, Founder and Director.

"Dr. Jerry Falwell, one of the great visionary leaders of the modern evangelical movement, had impact upon America and the world unlike few others, for several decades and on many fronts. Not only a bold spokesman for moral values in the market place of ideas, he also founded Liberty University, one of the great Christian universities in America and exhibited a longtime commitment to K-12 Christian education through his Lynchburg Christian Academy, one of the largest private Christian schools in the state of Virginia.  In 2001 in a private meeting in his office, he affirmed and encouraged me with the Exodus Mandate Project and my efforts to grow K-12 Christian schooling and home schooling in evangelical churches and families in the USA.  Dr. Falwell was an encourager and motivator, helping other servants of the Lord and ministers to develop their own dreams into reality.  He himself had great dreams for building the kingdom of God and thankfully he lived to see most to them come to reality. His great legacy may prove to be Liberty University and the tens of thousands of young champions for Christ who will go forth to serve a great God."

Exodus Mandate is a Christian ministry to encourage K-12 Christian schools and home schooling.
