DALLAS, June 26, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ --  Utilizing her own personal experiences, Autumn Miles, speaker and founder of The Blush Network, paints a picture of God's love for broken and battered women in her new book "Appointed: Your Future Starts Now," releasing July 14, 2014, from Revell.

A victim of years of physical and verbal domestic abuse, Miles struggled to find significance in who God had created her to be. As a young woman, she divorced her husband and was ostracized from the church her father pastored.

After praying for God to reveal direction for her life, Miles realized He would use her painful experiences to help those that were in the same shoes. With a God-given dream of starting a women's conference ministry, it took 10 years of waiting, trusting and growing spiritually for God to fulfill this dream. "I want to empower women to be instruments for God's kingdom," said Miles. "For too long, I allowed my past and abuse to make me feel unworthy of being the Lord's servant. I do not women to have to live with the guilt, shame and pain that I lived with for so long, when God is so much bigger and powerful than those things -- that's why I wrote this book."

"Appointed" helps bring God's hope, peace, love and healing to the broken, heavy laden and downtrodden.  Each chapter of "Appointed" outlines a different aspect that is significant to how God works in the lives of His people, such as prayer, trials, tenacity and one's future. Miles brings into reality that women do not have to wait 10 years for God to work in them. Through God, they are capable of finding significance right now--regardless of their past or what others think.

"I want every person to know that they are beautifully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and that through His power they can conquer the pain of the past. God can use and heal that pain for great things," Miles said.
