The 64-hour marathon includes two world premiere episodes of Front Row Live, the network's signature concert series, live reports from Celebrate Freedom Atlanta and more.
It all begins Sat, Sept. 1 at 7 a.m. (ET) with a Front Row Live marathon including two world premiere shows. The weekend's Front Row Live line-up features concerts by artists suited to every music fan's tastes, including Anointed, Austins Bridge, Byron Cage, Fred Hammond, Hawk Nelson, Kirk Franklin, Martha Munizzi, Michael W. The first world premiere FRL of the weekend is set for Sat. at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) with Front Row Live: Rebecca St. James as the Dove and Grammy Award winner performs her unique Aussie brand of pop/rock. Sunday night at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) it's the world premiere of Front Row Live: The Rance Allen Group. The legendary gospel trio presents music from their latest Tyscott Recordings release Closest Friend with songs ranging from Gospel to heart felt Worship and Urban Inspirational. A third world premiere Front Row Live will be bow on Tuesday, September 4 at 8 p.m. with GMC Gospel Dream winner and Sony/BMG artist Brian Smith performing from his debut CD Love Letter.
On Saturday, GMC will offer exclusive live on the hour reports and coverage from Celebrate Freedom Atlanta -- the 14+ hour live concert event with 20 top artists including Steven Curtis Chapman, Avalon, Mandisa (from American Idol), Natalie Grant, Mark Schultz, Aaron Schust and NEEDTOBREATHE on stage live from Atlanta.
GMC's Live Labor Day Weekend shifts gears on Monday at 3 p.m. (ET) to present 16 hours of KLTY's Celebrate Freedom 2007, the largest free concert event in the country, recorded live in June. The events boast nearly 40 artists, including Casting Crowns, Natalie Grant, Aaron Shust, tobyMac and more. Brian Littrell and Lisa Kimmey host Gospel Music Channel's coverage.
