Radical Islam is Not the True Character of God

Contact: Pastor Don Swarthout, President of Christians Reviving America's Values also known as CRAVE.  859-219-1222, 859-619-2811

WASHINGTON, July 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Recently President Bush blindly stated, "The God of Islam coincides with the God of Christianity."  While that may seem true to someone who has not studied Islam, we must realize Radical Islam has nothing whatsoever to do with the true character of God.

In fact, Radical Islam is about as far from the God of Christianity as you can get.

Radical Islam teaches that as a believer in that faith it is "OK for you to lie to non-believers," according to Walid Shoebat, a former Islamic terrorist.  Shoebat said in interviews with Pastor John Hagee and Fox News, "It is easy for Radical Islamic leaders to lie to the United States because we are non-believers."

Radical Islam also teaches its followers they must kill all of the infidels, who are anyone who is a non-believer.  Radical Islam also teaches that a suicide bomber who kills innocent people will become a martyr and be given 72 virgins in heaven to carry out all of his sexual wishes.

These beliefs all go against the very character of God.  Pastor Don Swarthout President of Christians Reviving America's Values said, "It is against the character of God to lie, to commit murder and to engage in sexual immorality on earth, let alone in heaven.  Therefore, all of these so-called rewards and many other principles of Radical Islam violate the Ten Commandments."

Whether you are a Christian or not, American's must wake up to the fact Radical Islamic threats are very real and threaten the survival of our nation. America cannot just continue to watch Radical Islamic threats against America and Israel.

We need to learn a lesson from World War II.  Americans watched the Nazi war machine break treaty after treaty while we remained quiet and let them get away with it.  We waited too long before entering that war and we were very fortunate to win it.  World War II was the last real war America ever fought for real.

Swarthout said, "I am not in favor of war, but the only thing evil Radical Islamic tyrants relate to is a superior force that shows they can take them down.  It is time for the United States to show our true strength to all the Islamic nations."

"The world is made up of people who are good and people who are evil.  In America good people are in the majority, but in the Radical Islamic nations evil people are in the majority.  We need to call our elected officials," Swarthout said.
