OCEAN GROVE, NJ - GOD'S SQUARE MILE ON THE JERSEY SHORE

THE GREAT AUDITORIUM

  • Beginning June 12th – Sunday Morning and Evening Worship Services conducted weekly by different ministers, pastors and noted speakers from churches and organizations nationwide. Some traditional: with gospel hymns by the Auditorium Choir and pipe organ; others cross generational: a blend of hymns, praise songs and contemporary worship music.
     
  • July 10th – 62nd Annual Choir Festival: "A Vision of Heaven" – Dr. Jason Tramm & guest conductors direct nearly 1,000 choristers, a brass ensemble & Dr. Gordon Turk on Ocean Grove's famous pipe organ.
     
  • August 28th – 7:00 pm – Annual Sacred Masterwork – Mendelssohn's Elijah – Tramm directs the entire oratorio in English with the Choir & Soloists, Adelphi Chamber Orchestra and Turk on the pipe organ.

BISHOP JAMES TABERNACLE

  • Beginning June 20th – Bible Hour – Monday, Saturday, 9:00 am
     
  • June 26th – August 28th – Communion – Sundays, 9:00 am
     
  • Wednesdays May 25th – September 28th, 6:30 pm – Sanctuary – music and silence in a place to come before God.
     
  • Thursdays July 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11, 18 – 9:00 pm – PrayerSong – peaceful worship, singing, and Communion.

BOARDWALK PAVILION

  • May 29th – September 25th – Pavilion Praise – Sundays, 9:00 am – contemporary services in conjunction with St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
     
  • Friday June 10th – Sunday, September 4th – Gospel Music Ministries – contemporary/traditional services, hymn programs and presentations of the Gospel of Salvation and re-birth through music and message.
